1889 Print Schools Grove Northwestern University Female Evanston Old GFY1 ZZ20 National Safety CouncilThis is an original 1889 halftone print with images of educational institutes at which Mrs. Frances Willard taught including the Benson Av. School, the Grove School, the Northwestern University, the Northwestern Female College, and the Evanston College for Ladies. Northwestern Female College was located in Evanston, Illinois. This college became the Evanston College for Ladies, a female Methodist institution. In 1873, the Evanston College for Ladies
