Chunky Strand of Roman Glass Beads African graduated strand18" strand of ancient Roman period glass pieces drilled as beads and pendants. Over 2000 years old from various excavations in and around Afghanistan. A variety of chunky teal, blues and greens, mixed sizes. Needs restringing. Sizes range from 8mm diameter to the larger center pendant, 33mm across x 45mm tall. Part of a broken bowl. This ancient glass has calcification, and wonderful rich patina.
