Purchased directly from a WW2 veterans family. This hand painted cloth flag is named to "Mr Morikita", and has multiple phrases such as "Good luck!", "Bravery!", "Sudden Death To Enemy!" and "Throw Yourself for Country". The flag is also signed by other Japanese servicemen, including several high ranking officers! The flag measures approximately 37" x 27". Cloth seems to be rayon, with the red sun dyed onto the center.
